After Activation License, close Sublime Text 3. Then Open File manager go to /home/USERNAME/.config/sublime-text-3/Local/ and change permissions License.sublime_license to Read Only

Step 4: Edit host file

To prevent the program from accessing the sublimetext site in the future to verify that the key is still valid and perhaps remove the key, open the following file as administrator: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
